We are excited to host an event during one of the most beautiful times of the year, in the charming harbor town of Port Jefferson on Long Island!

Looking to practice your French verbal skills with others? Immerse yourself in a weekend of language, culture, and connection.

This immersive workshop, designed for intermediate-level (A2+/B1) French learners, will take place at the elegant and inviting Danfords Hotel & Marina – a waterfront gem nestled right on the harbor. With its cozy rooms, stunning views, and relaxing ambiance, it’s the perfect setting to combine learning with a beautiful fall getaway.

This workshop will last a total of 2 full days and will be filled with fun and stimulating French learning group exercises. Every activity is carefully planned with a clear structure and a learning objective.The main goal is to give you the opportunity to practice your French verbal and comprehension skills.

This exciting French immersion course is created and hosted by one of the founders and teachers of the French learning school: Learn French at Home: Céline (another 1 or 2 French teachers will be joining as well).

The French Immersion Workshop will take place in the beautiful city center of Port Jefferson, NY.

The details of the workshop will be sent to the participants a month before the event, but you can expect the following:

-Classes will take place in the Danfords hotel. You  will engage in hours of language building skills in the classroom every day.
The activities will include comprehension and verbal expression work, grammar points, everyday life and idiomatic expressions, all put into context through projects, games and exercises in mini groups.

During the 2-day  immersion workshop, you can expect cultural activities with language learning objectives.

-Lunchs will take place either the hotel

-Dinner is optional, depending on if you wish to continue to socialise in French during the evenings.

Payment conditions:

2-day workshop payment schedule:
You can either pay in full when booking or make a deposit of $450 at registration. The remaining payment will be due end of August 2025. An invoice will be sent to you at that time.

Cancellation policy:

2-day workshop: the deposit is 100% fully refundable before September 1st, 2025. After that date, the deposit is non refundable.
After September 10th, 2025, the full workshop price is not refundable, but it can be transferred to another person.
