Hello , I am Nicolas.
I was born and raised in Paris and I have been teaching French for 11 years. Most of my experience took place in the most international of European cities: Brussels. I taught French to a wide range of nationalities : expatriates or migrants who needed to integrate in the society as well as job seekers, Ambassadors, CEO’s, etc..
Now, I am currently living in Rome because of love, food and sunshine!
I had another life before teaching French. I graduated in sociology at la Sorbonne ages ago and finally worked in the music industry for 15 years. It gave me the opportunity to negotiate contracts with sharks, to motivate depressed artists, and to earn loads of patience dealing with designers.
I love spending my time reading the news, cooking and eating, listening to music watching the sky (from Bach to Prince), watching movies (a lot), making jokes, cycling, swimming and watching football games as my knees won’t let me play anymore.
As a teacher, I see grammar as a game, a rhetorical jigsaw; so will you. Targeted work on vocabulary will make you feel richer. Personalised lessons and positive reinforcement are my weapons. No pleasure, no learning is my motto.
