Tutor Profile

Bonjour, my name is Delphine. I’m French, originally from Tours, but I’ve lived in Italy near Venice for many years.

I’ve been teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE) for over 30 years. After graduating from high school, I came to Italy to study languages, focusing on teaching methodology and pedagogy. I’ve always loved languages and teaching, which I began at a young age while still a student.
Each of my lessons is personalized. Every student and every lesson is unique, and I adapt and organize the training according to the individual, their level, the objectives to be achieved, and their learning pace. It’s always a challenge to improve my skills. Building my students’ confidence and being attentive and available are essential elements of my teaching approach. Seeing my students gain confidence, progress, and become independent in French gives me immense satisfaction.
My teaching is directed at businesses, individuals, children, teenagers, and students. I also prepare students for various language diplomas.
In addition to teaching, over the years I have organized and contributed to events focused on French culture and civilization, as well as on the various aspects of language in different contexts.
I am also a translator and interpreter, which has allowed me to engage with and specialize in different areas of the French language.
For me, teaching is not just a profession; it’s a true passion.
