Les Petits Loustics is an easy-to-use, two-level French method for children aged 3 to 6, which we use in our French classes for kids.
This method focuses on spoken French, in line with the various French programs for beginners.
The material is adapted to the everyday life and imaginary world of young learners, with engaging characters and attention-grabbing illustrations. Especially for children who can’t read, there are lots of songs and a strong emphasis on repetition for memorization, but with a playful twist. Each level contains 6 units made up of 3 double-page lessons and a story. There is a student’s book and an activity book. These contain song lyrics, poems, stories and lesson activities.
It contains tasks for each student to reuse what they’ve learned in class, stickers and an 
audio CD of nursery rhymes, songs and stories. The stories are read slowly so that children can imagine what is happening or what is going to happen.
One of the strengths of the course is that the students themselves take an active part in the activities.
