EXPERIENCE:
Hello! My name is Mina, and I am from Montpellier, a beautiful city in the South of France. My childhood was shaped by the sounds of the Mediterranean Sea, the endless vineyards, and the songs of cicadas. After high school, I decided to study languages, Italian and English, which made me jump onto the incredible ride of learning new languages and exploring diverse cultures.
I lived in Turin, Italy; in Dublin, Ireland; in Syros, Greece, and I am now located in Rome, in Italy. The choice of these destinations was fuelled by my desire to immerse myself in new languages and explore different cultures.
The path of language learning eventually led me to teaching. In 2022, I completed an internship at the Alliance Française in Turin, and I immediately fell in love with teaching.
Since then, I haven’t looked back. I have helped students prepare for exams such as DELF, DALF, and TEF, assisted with improving French for high school or university exams. I also taught French to children online for French associations, such as FLAM.
What I love most about teaching French is connecting with people, their cultures, passions, and stories, through a language. I’m always eager to learn, and I feel happiest when students can share new things with me as we explore French together. This mutual exchange not only helps us learn but often leads to beautiful human ties.
Teaching French while living abroad has deepened my connection with my native language, which I hold dear, as well as to the rich and diverse cultures of the French-speaking world, which I’m always eager to share and help others discover.
