Bonjour, my name is Fanny. I am 39 years old, and I am a French native teacher. I come from Provence, in the South of France, on the seaside. I am a child of the sun.

I majored in sciences when I was twenty (in both experimental and life ones), and, being an altruistic and sociable individual, I decided to become a primary school teacher in 2008. I now have over 14 years’ experience of teaching children aged of 3 to 11 years old.

After 7 years though, I felt I needed a change: I wanted to live in an English-speaking country, as English had always been my favourite modern language at school. I spent 2 years in Glasgow (Scotland) a city that celebrate people and their diversity. I taught French as a foreign language to children, teenagers and adults. I discovered that I enjoyed teaching this subject people of any age. As I only had an experience in teaching French in the field, I decided to restart my studies in France. I graduated with a master’s degree in teaching languages, and particularly French, and became a certified DELF and TEF examiner.

I am now teaching French online and in person, and I welcome the opportunity to meet students from all over the world.

I am a dedicated teacher, always attentive, empathetic and caring to my students. I will adapt to my students’ age, needs and pace of learning. I am a good communicator and a good listener. As an open minded individual, I firmly believe that diversity, exchanging and sharing are core values.

In my free time, I like playing the piano and the guitar, drawing, reading, walking along the coast and swimming. I like learning new things and talking about a wide variety of topics.
