Themes and objectives of the “French for Pre-intermediate”:
W1 — Talking about the past: past events, biography, passé composé, être/avoir auxiliaries, imparfait
W2 — Housing: types of accommodation, rooms & furniture, describing your home, prepositions of place
W3 — Food & meals: world cuisines, ordering at a restaurant, simple recipes
W4 — Work & studies: jobs, workplace, talking about your background
W5 — Travel & holidays: destinations, booking accommodation / an activity, polite conditional (je voudrais, pourriez-vous…)
W6 — Media & communication: social media, phone calls, writing a message, direct & indirect object pronouns
W7 — Expressing opinions: giving simple opinions, agreeing/disagreeing, je pense que + indicative, à mon avis, basic connectors (mais, donc, parce que)
W8 — Review: quiz, real-life scenarios, short written production, progress assessment
What is the schedule of the classes?
8 weeks on Thursdays.
1 class per week of 60 minutes.
8 weeks: starting March 26th to May 14th, 2026
