Bonjour, my name is Samantha, I am 34 years old. French from my dad‘s side and Portuguese from my mum’s. I was born in Paris. I grew up in a city near from Paris in a bicultural family. I have been living in Spain, Ecuador and now Argentina so I speak Spanish fluently.

I got my master’s degree in Spanish Literature and Civilization with an option French as a Foreign Language (FFL) in Paris. I worked as a french teacher in different places: in student’s homes, in academies, in schools and now by Zoom.

I started teaching French in 2011 in Spain. Then, I spent four year in Ecuador working in an Alliance Française and in a French school. For the last six years, I had various experiences as a teacher: I taught university students in Buenos Aires, and I taught as a pre-primary and primary French teacher.

I naturally specialized in children teaching and provide guided play and structured lessons for young learners. However, I also enjoy teaching to adults. I like the different dynamics found in lessons according to the different ages and learning objectives. During the classes, I focus particularly on pronunciation because it’s essential for gaining a comfort level and confidence. I also have experience in preparing the students to pass the official exams from A2 to C2.

I really want to help students learn my language and integrate foreign environments. Remote teaching helps me discover and learn new things about others countries and cultures.

I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to have visited several countries in America Latina and Europe. I also love yoga, listening to music, reading, learning about philosophy & psychology. For me, it’s very important to use art and culture to teach French.
