My name is Margaux. I was born in France, in the beautiful city of Lyon. I am currently studying Journalism in Paris, and I’ve have been teaching French as a foreign language for the past 4 years.
If you had to know one thing about me, it’s that I truly enjoy discovering new things ! Whether it is languages, people or stories, what I enjoy the most in life is to connect with others and learn from them – and occasionally transmit my own knowledge. This is why I decided to major in Journalism, why I decided to learn English, Spanish and Arabic, and also why I’ve decided to teach French. Languages are too interesting not to share them, and truly allow us to discover new aspects of the world everyday.
All of this led me to travel a lot, mainly around Europe and the Middle East. I just spent a year in Amman, Jordan, where I learnt Arabic and gave French classes to foreigners. It was truly an amazing experience to share my language and culture with others, while learning about theirs !
I created a bond with each one of my students. I built curriculum according to their goals and interests : for people who wanted to visit Paris, to study in France, to work with francophones, or simply to be able to read French classics or talk to their Swiss boyfriend. Everyone is different, and it’s particularly important for me to get to know you, your expectations and your interests to build a helpful class !
I hope to meet you soon !
