EXPERIENCE:
Bonjour,
My name is Françoise, I was born in Paris and I lived 5 years in Slovenia and 2 years in Morocco. I currently live in France (close to Paris, near Versailles).
Graduated from the Alliance Française de Paris (DAEFLE) and accredited as an examiner for DELF exams, I have been teaching French as a foreign/second language for 7 years in various countries, mostly with refugees and people in social difficulty
- In France, I’m teaching to refugees (living in urgency accommodations, under the international protection: Afghanistan, Soudan) to make easier the social/professional integration and prepare French certifications. I also worked for the immigration office as part of the compulsory French program for migrants to get the citizen card (Syria, Iraq, Bangladesh, Tibet, Mali,…).
I have been DELF examiner for levels A1 to B2 and TCF exams (to get an official level, particularly to ask for the French nationality or studies access).
- In Morocco, I led French socio-linguistic workshops for single mothers hosted in an association (volunteer job)
During my stay in Morocco, I also gave regular French lessons (social and professional) for people from different native countries (Botswana, England, Nigeria, Morocco, United States, Spain), levels (A1 to B2) and professional fields. In Slovenia I mainly led French workshops in international schools.
These different experiences were very interesting and pushed me to constantly adapt myself by offering individualized contents. I’m very motivated in teaching strong basic skills and cultural codes of my mother tongue to communicate the more fluently and precisely as possible. See you soon!
I speak French and English. I have some very basic knowledges in German, Slovene and Darija.
