'ONE-TO-ONE' FRENCH LESSONS ONLINE WITH A TEACHER
ON SKYPE OR ON THE TELEPHONE!
The long distance learning approach greatly enhances the comprehension and expression level of the student. There being no visual aids(apart from the notes typed by the teacher on the skype chat board), the student's concentration is highly focused. Every French lesson is personalized to the student's objectives and levels. They are performed in a fun and stimulating atmosphere with an encouraging teacher!
Each lesson is followed with 2 exercises.
The lessons are structured according to your level and your teacher will work with you on specific subjects relevant to your French learning goals which will all be practiced verbally via different role plays, questioning and conversation. Your teacher will also include some grammar exercises. The goal is to have you feel comfortable by the end of the lesson with the new information you've gained.
WHO IS IT FOR?
For anyone who has an intermediate or advanced French level and who has a busy timetable and can allocate approximately 1 hour of French learning
(30 minutes lesson + 30 minutes homework) on a weekly basis.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
After evaluating your current French level and your objectives, a teacher will organise with you a 30-minute weekly French lesson at a day and time most convenient to you. The lesson will take place on the telephone or via Internet with Skype. After each lesson, the teacher will send you the notes of the lesson + 2 exercises for you to complete before the following lesson.
EXTRA: In addition to the lessons and the homework and in order to practice your French on a daily basis, you will be able to join our forum and respond to the"question du jour" in French. After you've responded, your teacher will read your message and send a private message to you with the corrections - this way you will continue to receive ongoing feedback on a daily basis. There is no extra fee for this service.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Your teacher allocates at least 1h of work in preparing and giving each Light lesson as well as customising and marking each homework assignment . Again, everything is personalized to your level and pace of learning. You are receiving real value or your money with an individualised programme that allows you to make significant progress on a weekly basis.

IS THERE ANY FRENCH LEARNING MATERIAL TO PURCHASE?
Learn French at Home has created a serie of e-books, some with audio links to practice your verbal comprehension skills and some with grammar exercises to complete. These e-books are mostly used during the homework time. Your advisor will inform you of the package of e-books to order which will depend on your French level and your French learning objectives. This is one time fee and the packages range from 10 to 32 euros. You will receive the special student price payment link directly from your advisor or your teacher.
