Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny is a small village at the base of the Alps located half an hour from the centre of Geneva and ski resorts such as Le Grand Bornand (picture) and Megève. The authentic medieval town of La-Roche-sur-Foron is located ten minutes away.
The area is surrounded by magnificent mountains and alpine villages of the Faucigny. A region very popular with cyclists which is almost always part of the Tour de France. Geneva , European headquaters of the United Nations, and the charming city of Annecy , both with their picturesque lakes, are just a short drive away, and Chamonix and the majestic Mt. Blanc are less than an hour by car.
The region offers year-round possibilities for excursions and leisure activities such as hiking, cycling or skiing,

The House
(click on the pictures to enlarge)

The house is a renovated farmhouse built in 1902, located on a quiet rural street not far from the centre of the village (a 15-minute walk), where there are some very typical shops: boulangerie, boucherie, newspaper shops, small grocery stores. Very close to old cities of Bonneville and La Roche-sur-Foron with their open air markets...
The cosy farmhouse has exposed
stone walls and open beamed ceilings in some downstairs rooms. There is a large yard and vegetable garden, a perfect setting for breakfast, lunch and aperitif in
summer time.
On the ground floor there is a large living room with a fireplace, kitchen, dining room and
an in-house library. The guest(s) will have their private bedroom on the first floor: a double bed, a wardrobe, a work table and a private bathroom.
Free wireless Internet available.
